Monmouth County Council of Boy Scouts, Explorer Post #1, is a Law Enforcement Explorer Post at Neptune High School in Neptune, New Jersey. The Explorer Post was created as a partnership between the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office and Neptune High School with a common goal of offering students with an interest in law enforcement the opportunity to explore career possibilities in the law and criminal justice professions. The students in Neptune’s Jump Start Law/Criminal Justice Program are all members of the post. Mrs. Josephine Morey serves as the coordinator of the Law/Criminal Justice Jump Start program.
Advisors to the Explorer Post include Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden, Neptune High School Principal Richard Allen, teachers Josephine Morey and Tom Decker, and Undersheriff Ted Freeman.
