MONMOUTH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ANNOUNCES EMS PARTNERSHIP WITH MEDSTAR IN WALL TOWNSHIP
Freehold, NJ: Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden is proud to announce a new partnership with its emergency medical services operation, MedStar, which will now provide enhanced EMS in Wall Township. This collaboration is designed to deliver outstanding, timely, and efficient emergency care to residents.Sheriff Golden noted that the partnership reflects the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office continued commitment to public safety and high-quality medical response throughout the southern region of Monmouth County.
“Ensuring the health and safety of our residents is always a top priority, and the collaboration between the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office EMS Operation – MedStar, and Wall Township enhances the ability to respond swiftly to emergencies and deliver prompt and professional medical care to residents,” said Sheriff Shaun Golden. “It reinforces Monmouth County’s commitment to public safety by strengthening our readiness, improving response times, and ensuring that communities receive the highest level of care.”
MedStar’s team of highly trained EMS professionals will ensure seamless coordination during medical emergencies. The partnership brings additional resources, advanced equipment, and increased operational capacity to better serve the community. EMTs from Wall Township will soon transition to MedStar, strengthening our countywide emergency medical response. This move ensures continuity of high-quality care for residents. MedStar looks forward to welcoming these skilled professionals to the team as we continue our shared mission of delivering timely, dependable emergency medical services to the southern region of Monmouth County.
In addition to Wall Township, the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office provides complete Emergency Medical Services to Sea Girt, Manasquan and Neptune City, with primary backup in Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights and Brielle. MedStar also services Ocean Township, Tinton Falls and Holmdel. Since its inception MedStar responded to thirteen thousand calls for service with an average time in under six minutes. Nearly 9000 patients have been transported to area hospitals.
