Community and County Awareness Program

WELCOME TO AN OPPORTUNITY TO EARN A RECOGNITION AWARD BY PARTICIPATING IN
THE MONMOUTH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE COMMUNITY AND COUNTY AWARENESS PROGRAM!!

This program is designed to acquaint elementary and high school students with local and county agencies, local volunteer organizations and youth initiatives that provide essential services for the safety, security and day-to-day operations of our communities and county.

By completing a list of documented visits and interviews, and submitting the documentation to the Sheriff’s Office, elementary and high school students can earn the Community Awareness Recognition Award, or, by completing an additional three visits to county offices in Freehold, the Community and County Awareness Recognition Award.
