Monmouth County officials are reminding residents that the Hurricane Sandy Hotline, a clearinghouse of information for residents affected by the storm, is still active. The phone number is 732-303-2882.
“The dedicated volunteers and employees who are answering the calls to the Hurricane Sandy Hotline have already been able to assist thousands of residents who are having trouble finding vital information,” said Freeholder Director John P. Curley. “I encourage residents to not hesitate to call this hotline for access to phone numbers and information to help them rebuild and recover from this devastating storm.”
The hotline operates from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. County staff and volunteers will offer general information such as non-emergency police phone numbers, how to make donations, utility contact numbers, curfew information, FEMA contact numbers, and emergency shelter information.
