Sheriff To Step Up Patrols And Asks Public To Remain Vigilant

Monmouth County: In the wake of the recent terror attacks in Manchester, UK Sheriff Shaun Golden is reminding all, that, if you See Something Say Something.

Many events are unfolding in Monmouth County throughout the next few weeks and law enforcement will have a greater presence and heightened vigilance. Upon request, the sheriff office will be stepping up patrols at Memorial Day parades, sporting events such as the Spring Lake Five Mile Run and graduations, where K-9 teams will be present. During the holiday weekend, Sheriff’s Marine 1 will also be out patrolling the waterways, conducting homeland security checks and ensuring safe boating.

“As always, our Law Enforcement Division will be working closely with local law enforcement agencies to take whatever steps are required to ensure the safety and security of the people who live and work in  Monmouth County, as well as those who may be visiting.” said Sheriff Golden. “We ask that people remain vigilant and report suspicious activity by calling 911.”
